This historic route leads from the western shore of Lake Überlingen up to the wooded Molasse ridges of the Bodanrück. The trail starts in the picturesque village of Bodman and climbs the steep slopes above the castle park, following a varied mix of paved hiking trails, historic cobbled paths and shady forest trails. A central highlight is the Frauenberg monastery, which is enthroned on a striking rocky spur and offers one of the most spectacular views over the whole of Lake Constance as far as the Vorarlberg Alps.
