This family-friendly route leads around the Schwarzenbach dam, the largest reservoir in the northern and central Black Forest. A beautiful hike along the shore and through the wild forest, with fantastic views over the lake and the Karwand. On the second half, after crossing the country road, you enter the Black Forest National Park. Dogs must be kept on a leash there, otherwise ground breeders could be disturbed. Overall, the route is very dog-friendly. There is free parking opposite the city wall. A combination of bus and train is also possible.
