The starting point is the parking lot at the Kreuzeiche Stadium in Reutlingen. Along the Markwasen, you come to a road that leads into the forest and then becomes a path, the Gurgelweg. This leads a good bit along the pretty Breitenbach, past beautiful clearings with picnic areas and then away from the creek in a westerly direction until you reach the L 383 at Hofgut Alteburg. Continue south over beautiful meadows and fields to the Falkenhof. Then the forest begins again, where a small ascent leads up the Lenzensteigle to the Stöffelberg. On the way back you follow the well-known Breitenbach back to the starting point. Accessible by bus and train. There are places to stop for refreshments at the start and end of the route.
