RTF Sachsenheimer Lichtenstern-Tour – Route 156

Official route of the RTF. This cycle tour (RTF) is a great test of endurance and leads through the picturesque and mountainous landscapes of the Stromberg-Heuchelberg and Zaber- and Kraichgäu regions in Baden-Württemberg. As one of the longest cycling tour options, there are considerable differences in altitude and numerous profiled climbs to contend with along the entire route. The tour winds its way through the charming wine country, often affectionately referred to as "Swabian Tuscany", and offers an impressive passage through the historic monastery courtyard of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Maulbronn Monastery. This route is challenging due to the distance and hilly terrain and follows low-traffic roads and designated cycle paths.
