This loop which is part of the FairyTrails, is a certified premium hiking trail in the Swabian-Franconian Forest. The town center of Murrhardt marks the start of this varied hike, so the route is easily accessible by bus and train.
The majority of the trail runs through beautiful forest with some ascents and descents, with beautiful views to enjoy from the heights. The highlight is, of course, the section where the trail follows the wild Hörschbach gorge to the impressive waterfalls. The five-metre-high Vordere waterfall is particularly impressive.
