From the hiking car park in Wolfsgrund, the route leads along mostly narrow paths through the northern slopes of the lake from one fantastic vantage point to the next. From the Ahaberg, it then slowly goes back in the direction of Schluchsee, along the shore of which the path leads back to the hikers' car park.
