MTB-Tour 5: Königs-Tour

Ambitious mountain bikers will love this tour - with a single trail and adventure trail share of around 10% and several cultural and scenic highlights, mountain bikers' hearts beat faster. From the starting point it goes first through the historic old town of Neckargemünd and over the Friedensbrücke to Kleingemünd. After a steep ascent, you always drive along the slope towards Heidelberg-Ziegelhausen - with wonderful views of the Neckar Valley. It goes uphill to the Köpfel Leisure Center. At the Sengesselloch there is a long and steep ascent up to the White Stone, where you can refresh yourself with a stop. A narrow path leads to the folding rule, from here it is relaxed on to the Heiligenberg. A former hiking trail leads down to Heidelberg's old town, which scores with both cultural and gastronomic highlights. Then the tour leads steeply up the road and then into the Rohrbacher Wald. A very long single trail leads to the log cabin and then uphill to the Königstuhl. Finally, over the Felsenmeer, a rapid descent back down to Neckargemünd, where the local gastronomy invites you to a well-deserved stop.
