This is the official route of the 42 km long Heidelberg Mammutmarsch from 2022. From Dossenheim, the route leads through Heidelberg, the Neckar Valley and to the Königstuhl. The start is at the Schauenburghalle car park. Dossenheim Süd railway station is nearby, making it easy to travel to and from the station by train. There are numerous places to stop for refreshments in the villages and on the Königstuhl.
