Leimbachroute - Bhf. Hoffenheim bis Rhein bei Brühl

The Leimbach route is a 46 km long leisure route from the Sinsheim-Hoffenheim train station to Brühl am Rhein. As a water experience route, the Leimbach route invites the population to experience the Leimbach from its source to its mouth by bike, on foot or as part of a mobility network. As a local history discovery route, the Leimbach route invites you to discover special local history locations along the way. The project was awarded first prize in 2012 by the Rhein-Neckar Region Association as part of the “Landscape in Motion” competition. The route logo was found as part of the school competition “A logo for the Leimbach route”. In addition, information boards about the entire route and later also about the special places are set up along the way. It will be available to all citizens free of charge in the town halls of the municipalities until the route opens. The "Leimbachroute" is an intercommunal leisure and tourism project of the communities of Sinsheim, Dielheim, Wiesloch, Nussloch, Leimen, Sandhausen, Oftersheim, Schwetzingen, Ketsch and Brühl together with the Heidelberg-Mannheim neighborhood association (project coordinator).
