The trail begins in Kaltenbronn and follows the Postweg. It then turns right onto the Oberer Hornweg and later leads past the Jägerschaukel, a beautiful viewpoint with a swing, and continues through the Wildseemoor, past the Wildsee. The last landmark is the Leonhardhütte, which is a good resting place.
