The climb to Königstuhl starts behind the cemetery (bus arrival possible and parking available). In Königsstuhl, of course, the climb is rewarded with magnificent views. Afterwards, the steep descent to Heidelberg begins - via the Valerieweg it goes down to the Neckar River. On the opposite side of the Neckar, the route leads as a small round over a beautiful serpentine trail until it finally goes towards the starting point.
Attention. Some parts of the route run over mountain bike trails. In addition, sturdy shoes are an advantage!!! The trail itself is a combination of several different trails, so the entire route is not marked and the use of an offline map is very handy.
