Art, nature and history on the Eppinger Linien Trail
This hiking trail is not only a great hiking highlight in terms of landscape, but also a window into regional history. Already 30 years ago, this route was laid out as a cultural-historical hiking trail along the Eppingen Lines, the defense system built under the Türkenlouis in 1695, signposted and provided with information boards. In 2014, large sculptures by the Gemmingen artist Hinrich Zürn were then installed along the path.
The hiking trail leads through a varied area with wonderful views over the Kraichgau and cultural highlights such as the Maulbronn Monastery.
