This is the first of two stages of the historic Eppinger-Linien-Weg long-distance hiking trail (certified as a quality hiking trail in Germany), which runs for 40 km from Eppingen to Mühlacker. The route suggested here runs on wonderful paths past some great viewpoints through the Hartwald from Eppingen to Sternenfels. There are places to stop for a break. Reachable by bus and train (start: Eppingen train station, destination: Sternenfels stop, town hall).
