Stage 2 of the “Donau-Zollernalb-Weg” long-distance hiking trail, Baden-Württemberg.
This is the second stage of the Donau-Zollernalb-Weg quality trail, which runs for almost 160 km from Beuron in the Danube Valley to the Lemberg and crosses the highest part of the Swabian Alb once.
The second stage starts in Hausen im Tal and the hike ends in Gutenstein. There are two quite strenuous climbs that are rewarded with an abundance of great views and several ruins that are well worth seeing. The highest rock face in the Danube Valley is also a real highlight. There are places to stay overnight and refreshment stops.
