Diese Route folgt der 10. Etappe des Albschäferwegs von Ballmertshofen nach Giengen an der Brenz. Von Ballmertshofen führt der Weg über die bayerische Grenze nach Zöschingen, vorbei an der Kapelle Maria Steinbrunn und einer Kneippanlage. Durch ausgedehnte Wälder und typische Heidelandschaften bei Oggenhausen geht es über den Rötenberg zum Zielort Giengen. Wildcampen ist auf der gesamten Strecke verboten; Übernachtungen sollten im Voraus in Gasthöfen umliegender Orte gebucht werden. Natürliches Bachwasser sollte vor dem Trinken gefiltert oder behandelt werden.
