This beautiful route lies in complete seclusion in the Black Forest’s Hochwald region and winds along paths—some of which are very narrow and untouched—through the vast, shady forests of the Saarland. The hike begins at the parking lot near the outdoor forest swimming pool. There is a place to stop for refreshments in Weiskirchen.
