The route leads through the Baerler Busch, around the Loheider See and onto the Rheinpreußen dump. From there it goes either according to the suggested route or on other ways back down to the forest lake. A short but technically demanding trail awaits you there on the shore of the Waldsee. The route is a good mix of shorter trails, forest highways, ascent to the dump with a great view of the lakes and over the Ruhr area.
