This bike tour leads over a length of almost 60 km through the western part of the Franconian Switzerland-Franconian Jura Nature Park. The route can be started at the train station in Gosberg or in Forchheim, for example. From the entry point - the hikers' car park across from the Neideck ruins - it goes to Streitberg, to enter the Leinleitertal in Gasseldorf. Well-developed bike paths lead through a very beautiful area to Heiligenstadt. From there - in the direction of Kalteneggolsfeld - an approx. 3 km long climb has to be mastered. For mastering this, you will be rewarded with a very nice descent on a tarred path through the middle of the forest, which takes you to Frankendorf in successive serpentines....
