They are discussions with the Protected Areas Regional Office(Lampang) for established Khelang Banphot National Park and protected Doi Phra Baht forest to be sustainable ecosystem area. Khelang Banphot National Park including Mae Yang Mae Ang National Forest, Mae Chang National Forest and Mae Mao National Forest. The totally area are 50,390.344 RAI or 31.49 square kilometer cover Phra Baht sub-distrct, Phi Chai sub-district, Sadet sub-district of Meaung district, Mae Mao sub-district, Ban Kong sub-district of Mae Mao district, Mae Tha sub-district and Huay Seu sub-district of Mae Tha district.
