Best trails in Lam Khlong Ngu National Park
Lam Khlong Ngu is a national park located in Thailand. The name Lam Khlong means canals and Ngu means snakes, which suggests where the name was from. It is believed that there was a big snake who eroded through limestones and created waterways and caves, which appear at the national park these days. The park is home to a variety of wild animals, plants, and insects. It is also known for its beautiful limestone caves, including Tham Nok Nang Aen, Tham Namtok, Tham Yai, and Tham Sao Hin. Tham Sao Hin is particularly notable as it features Thailand's tallest limestone column made of stalagmites and stalactites, measuring 62.5 meters in height. The best time to visit the caves is during the dry season when the water level is not too high, allowing for easy viewing of the natural beauty.
