This is a circular route around the peak of Mount Tabor (פסגת הר תבור), one of the tallest and most iconic mountains in all of Israel. This trail is known to be especially scenic during the spring and winter when seasonal blooms light the area up, and is a great family friendly option. This route is around Mount Tabor on the Halmaniot Trail(הר תבור ושביל החלמניות), ideal for families and nature lovers. Start this route at the trail head for the Sovev Har Tavor- The sign actually reads Halmaniot (Sternbergia) trail. Walk to the start of the trail until branching to the side loop where the Sternbergia flowers are. Sternbergia, or Halmaniot flowers are only out in the winter, around mid December till February. The trail is very clean and well-maintained.
