The Aukrug Nature Park covers an area of 380 square kilometers in the center of Schleswig-Holstein. Away from the tourism on the North Sea and Baltic Sea, you can enjoy nature to the full here. Tranquil villages, idyllic forest and meadow landscapes, small streams and pastures, and in particular the man-made hedgerows typical of this region, which today provide an excellent habitat for a wide variety of creatures.
