Best dog-friendly trails in South Eifel Nature Park

This route is a Delux nature trail and a certified premium trail. The Ourtal between Tintesmühle and the town of Ouren is particularly narrow, steep and rustic here. Excellent for an exciting day hike. The river has dug deep into the Rhenish Slate Mountains. About halfway through the tour you can reach the European monument in ears. Here is a large stone block for each of the six founding countries of United Europe.

Certified premium hiking trail on the German-Luxembourg border This loop in the NaturWanderPark delux is a certified premium hiking trail. It leads along the Our and its numerous mills. Many of the barrages have been dismantled in recent years and the river, which marks the border between Luxembourg and Germany here, has been made passable again for brown trout travelling upstream to their spawning grounds. Interesting views of the fish ladder can be enjoyed at the Rellesmühle weir....

This trail offers a combination of nature and culture near Vianden, a municipality in the Our Nature Park. The trail passes through forests and past vantage points, such as Beim Fändelchen, which provide a view of the Our loop and the medieval Vianden Castle. Built between the 11th and 14th centuries, this castle is a reminder of the region's rich feudal history. The surface is unpaved and may consist of paved or paved forest roads on other sections.
