In the Haßberge Nature Park there is nature to discover. The gentle low mountain range combines unforgettable landscapes with lively nature, culture and history on around 86,000 ha.The nature park is located in the northernmost part of the Franconian Keuperland in Bavaria and lies in the triangle between Haßfurt, Bamberg and Bad Königshofen. There is something for everyone to experience here: there are adventure trails for children, youth campsites, playgrounds and many castles and palaces. There are many opportunities for half-day and full-day tours as well as long-distance hiking trails.

On the way there are game elements that lead through the loop around the topic of stone processing and sensory experiences with stones. Animals and plants in the quarry are also discussed. There is a table and two benches in the immediate vicinity of the rocks, making it a great place to have a picnic with a view of the rock formation. In the course of the first kilometer it goes uphill a little. Nevertheless, even children should hardly have any problems with the route.
