In the Haßberge Nature Park there is nature to discover. The gentle low mountain range combines unforgettable landscapes with lively nature, culture and history on around 86,000 ha.The nature park is located in the northernmost part of the Franconian Keuperland in Bavaria and lies in the triangle between Haßfurt, Bamberg and Bad Königshofen. There is something for everyone to experience here: there are adventure trails for children, youth campsites, playgrounds and many castles and palaces. There are many opportunities for half-day and full-day tours as well as long-distance hiking trails.

Dammrundweg in Kemmern There is a hiking car park to the south of the city, where this circular route also begins. From here it goes on the flood protection dam around Kemmern. Since there are hardly any differences in altitude on the route, it is ideal for a leisurely walk. Only a short section near the freeway is a bit louder.
