Day 1. Severely challenging ascent Day 2. Relaxed hike across amazing scenery Day 3. Moderately challenging descent Ascent was extremely challenging for me. That was partially my fault coz I packed too heavy, hit the trail too late and took the wrong turn at the beginning missing the only water source available. Be smart - learn from mistakes of others :) Too much rubbish on the trail and around shelters for such a remote and off-beaten trail. Otherwise I would rate it 5/5. The views on day 2 were absolutely stunning while terrain was fairly challenging. ATTENTION#1! Follow the blue trail marks at the very beginning of Day 1 or you will end up on an overgrown horse trail forcing the river (just like me) :) ATTENTION#2! Beware of wild animals. On the first day's afternoon I met a huge wild boar mid-way in the forest. That was so scary and unexpected that I nearly s*** myself. So be on guard especially if you are hiking solo and carry a whistle with you to produce noise which scares wildlife TIP. Upper hut is newer and more convenient but lacks of water source nearby TIP. If you get lucky you will be accompanied with very handsome and smart female stray dog which is kinda mascote of Lagodekhi park (read some reviews online) :)
