Best trails in Lagodekhi National Park

Fun trail to a stunning waterfall with a partial difficult part. The trail goes by the river bed on the way towards the waterfall. Just note that there are two river crossings which are doable barefoot, so there is no need for slippers. However keep in mind that the water is very cold but not deep at all. The waterfall is also 40 meters high.

This high-altitude trail is defined by its significant and sustained elevation change. The route begins with a steep, multi-hour ascent through a dense, pristine forest of hornbeam and beech trees. As the trail climbs, it emerges from the forest into a subalpine zone of maple and birch. The path, a mix of packed earth and rock, continues climbing along an exposed ridge, eventually reaching the alpine zone.
