Auyuittuq National Park is located on the Cumberland Peninsula of Baffin Island, in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of Nunavut. It was established in 1972, though it did not become a national park until 2000. Its Arctic landscape is made of mountains, cliffs, glaciers, ice fields and fjords. It is a great place to backpack, hike, snowshoe, ski or snowmobile, although appropriate preparation is required.
It is highly encourage to hire an outfitter to move around the park.
