Visitor info
The Iguaçu National Park charges an entrance fee at different rates for Brazilians, citizens of Mercosur countries, and foreigners from other countries. There are also discounts for children, students, the elderly, and residents of the Foz do Iguaçu region. Children under the age of 2 do not pay admission. Payment can be made by cash or card, and extra activities, such as boat trips on the Macuco Safari, have additional costs. We recommend checking the updated prices on the park's official website before visiting.
The park offers accessible transportation and main viewpoints so everyone can enjoy a peaceful stroll. Conventional wheelchairs are available free of charge at the Visitor Center.
It is recommended that visitors with mobility difficulties disembark at the last stop on the internal bus, Porto Canoas, which has a viewpoint and panoramic elevator to access the walkway. Another option is to get off at the station in front of the hotel, which gives access to the first viewpoint of the falls. From there, you can admire the landscape and take the bus back to Porto Canoas. The trail is not recommended due to the stairs and the 1 km walk.
