Varied circular hike between nature and history The hike begins in Henfstädt an der Werra, where a detour to Henfstädt Castle is also possible. From here it goes through the village and then along the edge of the forest to Leutersdorf. Later you come to Wachdorf, where the route changes to the Werratal cycle path, which takes you along the Werra back to the starting point. A small detour to the Wachdorf fortified church is also possible in Wachdorf.

Relaxed forest hike to the Stone Church This hike between Henfstädt and Themar leads through shady forest and is therefore also a good option on sunny summer days. It leads to the ruins of the Stone Church, which was an important pilgrimage chapel before the Reformation.
