Best event trails in Malente

The RTF of the Malente cycling team starts in Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen and leads over a varied 160km through the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park and along the coast of the Bay of Kiel. The route makes use of the undulating terminal moraine landscape around the Plöner and Selenter lakes and is more challenging than you might expect in the north. Historically, the area was shaped by the last ice age, which left behind a unique backdrop of deep lakes and rolling hills.

Challenging RTF in Schleswig-Holstein. This is the official route (from 2017) of the RTFs from Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen. It goes via Lehmkuhlen, Selent and Hohenfelde to the coast and then on via Hohwacht and Kükelühn to Benz and back to the starting point.
