Best partially-paved trails in Zwenkau

Beautiful loop in Zwenkau, Saxony. The route leads around the new Zwenkauer See lake and surprises with variety. The paths are very different. Sometimes there is coarse gravel and then fine gravel and sometimes paved layers of earth. On the whole, the trail is very easy to walk or cycle. The landscape is very impressive and the peaceful idyll invites to relax. Highlights of the hike: - Wonderful views - Local flora and fauna - Varied natural landscapes

This route begins at the Zwenkau City Library. It leads south through the Imnitzer Lachen nature reserve. Then it begins to follow along the Weißen Elster. Then it goes through Pegau and then through the nature reserve Pfarrholz Groitzsch. It continues south to its destination Prößdorf and the Prößdorfer See.
