Best views trails in Dohma

This route makes a loop in the area around Cotta and Großcotta. It starts north on Ernst Nied Weg. The trail leads fairly quickly into wooded areas. Finally the path reaches the road where you turn right and then right again to go back. After Cotta, the path leads to the Cottaer Spitzberg, which is almost 400 meters high.

A slightly longer hike in Saxon Switzerland. First it goes from Cotta, to be reached by bus, mainly through the woods to the Ottomühle. This has been around since the 16th century and also offers a restaurant. On the way back, a visit to the Pötzschturm, which is very popular with climbers, is worthwhile.
