This route is a highlight ride for riders and horses who like to walk through water, not only through the countless fords. You pass the Pyrmont Castle and the Pyrmonter Mühle with the three-part Elzbach waterfall. As soon as you are out of the rustic Elzbachtal you have beautiful views of Eltz Castle and then ride back through open terrain with a lot of visibility. The route is well suited for barefoot horses.
