Historical hiking tour in Erlenbach near Dahn, Rhineland-Palatinate. From the car park, you first hike to the Berwartstein, a medieval rock castle with a viewing platform below the top of the keep for a wide view of the southwestern Wasgau and French Alsace. Then it continues via the ruins of Klein-France before it goes around the idyllic Seehofweiher bathing lake. There is a beautiful sunbathing lawn, toilet facilities and a kiosk.
