Versatile countryside hike in Rhineland-Palatinate. It starts at the Rochus chapel in Bingen (Rhine). Via the Goethe-Ruhe it goes to the Rhine. You walk along the initially built-up, then green banks of the river to the point where the Welzbach flows into the Rhine. Now you follow the smaller body of water that flows between fields. until shortly before Gau-Algesheim. There it goes through the wine plantations and on to Ockenheim. Again through the wine you get back to the starting point....
