The elven grotto, also known as the cheese grotto, consists of many stones stacked on top of each other that look like cheese wheels. 50,000 years ago, hot, glowing rock from the surrounding volcanoes pushed its way into the Elbesbachtal. This is how this unique cave was created. Behind the elven grotto, a waterfall falls down to a romantic pool of water. The grotto can also be reached with a stroller.
