Best backpacking trails in Andernach

This route follows stage 4 of the Rheinburgenweg, a long-distance trail starting in Andernach and ending in Bassenheim. The path leads across volcanic soils, past the Runder Turm tower, the historical Alter Krahnen crane, and the famous Andernach Cold Water Geyser before continuing through the Netteaue meadows and the village of Miesenheim toward Bassenheim Castle.
