Best moderate trails in Affler

Idyllic nature hike in Rhineland-Palatinate. Starting from Affler, the route first heads north and north-west to the Machtemesmühle. It first goes over wide fields and then downhill through the forest to the left tributary of the Our - the Irsen. Temporarily along its green banks, then deeper into the forest again, it now goes south on the other side. There the river is crossed and a forest path leads back to the starting point. A nice route if you like it green and quiet.
