Best beach trails in Wipperfürth

Running route of the "Bergische 50" adventure hiking trail in the Bergisches Land region. Every year in April, running and hiking enthusiasts set off from Wipperfürth into the nature of the Bergisches Land region. In 2023, the route first led to the north-east and then through the forest at Wernscheid to the Lingesetalsperre reservoir. From there, the route leads back to the starting point via small villages. This route follows stage 6 of the Bergischer Panoramasteig and connects Wipperfürth with Marienheide. From Wipperfürth, the trail runs through the Wuppertal valley along undulating paths offering views across the Bergisches Land. Walkers pass the Lingesetalsperre dam before the route ends at the historic pilgrimage town of Marienheide.
