This route follows stage 8 of the Bergischer Weg and connects Rösrath with Overath. Departing Forsbach, the trail winds across small stream valleys before reaching the Sülz River at Hoffnungsthal. Idyllic hike through the Naafbachtal from Overath to Kreuznaaf. The hike starts at Overath train station and leads along the Agger, via Cyriax, Gut Eichthal, over the Hasenberg into the Naafbachtal. You move on paths and sometimes narrow paths past Ingersauel, the old Naafmühle to the confluence of the Kleinesbach.
