Official route of the CTF. Further details can be found directly from the organizer: https://www.rtc-muelheim.de/ The cross-country tour first leads along the Ruhr to Kettwig and then up the mountain via trails towards Hösel and over the Ruhr heights through the forest to Ratingen. From there it goes back down to the Ruhr. The loop is easy to ride, technically not too demanding, but a mountain bike is an advantage because the trails lead over forest paths. Total ascent 419 meters in altitude...

From Menden/Mülheim, the route first takes you along the Ruhr Valley cycle path to Duisburg Rhein-Orange, towards Rheinpark and Tiger & Turtle, to the DU lake district and back through the countryside via Saarn to Menden.
