This route begins in the Platte Heide district of the town of Menden and runs through the forested area south of the town. She follows the forest path until she almost reaches the Stübecken, but stays in the forest. On the way back she passes the Hembrocker Berg. Part of the hike is also within the boundaries of the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park.
