Best forest trails in Frechen

This hike leads around the impressive site of the Frechen quartz works to the west of Cologne, one of the most important quartz sand mining areas in Europe. From the starting point, the trail leads around the entire perimeter of the active quarry on well-maintained forest and peripheral paths.
