This route follows stage 8 of the Bergischer Panoramasteig and connects Bergneustadt with Reichshof. Departing Wiedenest, the trail climbs steeply through Altenothe toward the Branscheid juniper heath. Hikers pass Blockhaus, the highest point of the full loop, before descending through forests and open countryside via Windfus, Hespert, and Dreschhausen to finish in Nespen near Eckenhagen.
