Best long trails in Alt Schwerin

Panoramic bike tour at Plauer See, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. This beautiful bike tour leads from Alt-Schwerin train station on the north-western shore of Lake Plauer to Plau am See. Once there, you can either take the train back to Alt-Schwerin or, after stopping by a restaurant, you can cycle back on the familiar trail. This hike begins in Sparow and then turns north on the Nossentintrail. The Drewitzer See is on the left with a few entrances near the shore. Most of the hike is heavily forested, but eventually you reach the village of Nossentiner Hütte, where you can stop for refreshments.
