Quiet and relaxed hike in Diekholzen, Lower Saxony. It is wonderful to start here from the practical parking lot, which is right on the edge of the forest. Circular hike; Start / finish at the exit of Diekholzen towards Sibbesse over the Red Mountain. Parking at Alfelder Str. Or in the parking lot (access to the sports field) directly at the end of the village. The route is easy to walk or cycle on (largely paved). Some seating along the way. The route can be extended, e.g. B. Entrance of the Beuster Valley uphill towards the ridge path. Then on the ridge path back towards NW to Diekholzen.
