The Spessart Trail starts at the “Barbarossaquelle” car park. From the starting point the path follows the road into the forest. The path meanders towards the Junkernkopf, where the Spessartspur meets the Spessartbogen. The trail at the “Edelweißhütte” near Gondsroth leads over the Karlsberg back out of the forest. Here you can see views of Somborn and the Spessart. At the educational forest trail, the path climbs up again in the forest and passes the forest playground and the “Dicke Tanne”...
