Best long trails in Hessisch Lichtenau

This route is a certified premium hiking trail that is excellently signposted (yellow symbol "P10"). Diverse forest sections, the Reichenbach castle ruins and Wacholderheiden are waiting for you. There are also some art installations along the way. Hiking parking spaces: "Drei Linden" car park for hikers, Reichenbach Parking lot at the village community center Reichenbach Wanderparkplatz Wickersröder Höhe, Hopfelde Arrival by bus and train is also possible (Reichenbach stop).

This path starts near the Frau-Holle-Park. It leads south through the landscape and then climbs up to the Reichenbach castle ruins, from which you have a beautiful view of the Hessian landscape. The path is marked with the yellow text HL5.
