Best hard trails in Glashütten

Popular quality hiking trail in the Taunus Nature Park, Hesse. The Hochtaunus Limes adventure trail follows the course of the Limes hiking trail and the Limes cycle path and runs from Glashütten to Ober-Mörlen. It runs along the Limes adventure trail through the Hochtaunus region. Along the way, the route will pass the Saalburg, which is the only reconstructed Roman fort on the Limes. There are also several other watchtowers and small forts and, of course, the Limes itself along the way....

Circular route over historic streets and a visit to medieval glass furnaces Technically undemanding route with inclines. The section at the Red Cross (in front of Hünerweg) is very steep - push it! The Hünerweg, the Rennstraße and the old Poststraße in front of the threshing floor are historic streets. On the way back, shortly before glassworks, the very short detour to the remains of late medieval glass furnaces is worthwhile.
