Best partially-paved trails in Märkische Heide

Popular loop trail in the Spreewald biosphere reserve, Brandenburg. This beautiful loop leads around the Neuendorfer See. You pass numerous picturesque bays, quiet pine forests, the Neuendorfer Seewiesen and several campsites. Fishing is permitted in Lake Neuendorf with the appropriate permit. Highlights of the hike: - Neuendorfer Seewiesen nature reserve - Lake Neuendorf - Spree - Soella nature reserve

The hiking tour starts and ends in Alt Schadow, leads a bit along the Spree, circles the Grubensee and leads back to Alt Schadow at the Godnasee. All paths are available and easily accessible, even if they cannot be found on all maps. The only good resting place is above the Grubensee at the bathing place. There are a couple of benches and various swimming opportunities along the way.
